Prague´s most „horrible“ and most trafficjammed bridge in the town with its fenomenal concrete mini mini pipe was the first stopover of Red Bull Access All Areas skateboarding project in the Czech Republic. According to the name of this concept, we have started on the place, where the mystery of untouchable spot – which is ready to be ridden - is combined with adrenalin escapes in front of police cars hiting few minutes after you climb in. Two days before the World Cup Skateboarding took a place in Prague, we decided to do little bit mess around skatebording, freedom and people. The selection of the riders was quite easy – the youngest and the most talented quys were invited to skate with austrian Philipp Schuster on the spots, where nobody do the tricks before. From the begining, there were two names confirmed – Maxim Habanec, the real young revolver, and Lukas Danek, the guy who has perfect style of riding at all obstacles and conditions. To be the fourth in the group was finally offered to Martin Pek, discrete but really really good and experienced rider. The team was ready!
Wednesday, 5th of July, 12:00. After riders meeting in forbidden garage in Prague´soutskirt, the group of riders on the scooter followed by orgtanisation crew, camera guy and photographer stop near the concrete mini ramp, which is located approximatelly 6 meters above the Prague´s traffic vain. Little bit of cleaning and the jam starts. As the ramp is really small, the guys were doing just easy tricks, amazing the people in the cars passing around. Nearly one hour of riding was enough, the temperature above 30 and sky without shades was the real extreme, so packing, leaving …. Dinner and some relax in cart arena.
The evening session was located in the church Sacre Ceur. We prepared four different obstacles – table [with not Last Dinner :-)], artificial drop, small 4 steps rail and oratory. Saint athmosphere, fresh air, no mess, no people – pure skateboarding with a lot of fun in the place, where nobody ever skate before. The end of the session – and obviously the end of the official part of Red Bull Access All Areas was at Midnight. Late enough after whole day of skateboarding.
